Nathan Williams, Sr. has been selected as the recipient of the 2015 ZBT Clifton Chenier Lifetime Achievement Award. After over thirty years spent out on the Zydeco Road, he certainly has earned it!
Williams has enjoyed an international career as leader of Nathan and the Zydeco Cha Chas. His long touring resume has taken him to the Grand Ole Opry, Lincoln Center in New York and an appearance in the 2009 movie, “In the Electric Mist,” starring Tommy Lee Jones.
So Philly, get ready for a fast and furious zydeco dance party!
Zydeco dance lesson is included in price and starts at 7:30PM. New dancers welcome. No partners necessary. Live music and dance: 8:30 PM.
